STEP 1

Shift into the smallest cog and put the derailleur into the locked position

STEP 2

Remove the rear wheel

STEP 3

Using a 2.5mm hex key, remove the speed sensor connecting bolt

Then lightly pull the speed sensor out of the way

STEP 4

Using a 4mm hex key, remove the speed sensor mount bolt

STEP 5

Separate the speed sensor from the mount, then remove the mount

NEW VS. OLD MOUNT

Ensure you have the correct mount

STEP 6

Attach the speed sensor to the new mount and use a 2.5mm hex key to install the connecting bolt.

Tighten to 2-3 Nm (until snug)

STEP 7

Ensure the speed sensor cable slots into the groove on the mount

While installing, ensure the tab on the mount is aligned with the slot in the frame

STEP 8

Using a 4mm hex key, install the new mount with the speed sensor already attached

Tighten to 2-3 Nm (until snug)

STEP 9

Reinstall the wheel and unlock the derailleur cage
