Vinny is getting set to ride in the inaugural women’s Rampage aboard her custom Forbidden Dreadnought. The occasion marks the first time Women have been invited to the event in some 24 years of competition. We couldn’t be more excited for her and all the other women.
To celebrate this momentous occasion, we teamed up with our good friends at Fresh Paints of Whistler to create this custom “lava lamp”-inspired paint job on Vinny’s Dreadnought. The boys at Fresh Paints worked closely with Vinny on design inspiration and left nothing back in this funky paint job.
The bike has some really interesting details, including a custom Vinny motif throughout, custom-shimmed Marzocchi suspension, as well as a “mini mullet” 27.5/26″ wheel combination for extra bike maneuverability in the desert. Vinny and her team have scoped out her line, and are breaking ground today. Stay tuned for more coverage aboard this steed in the coming weeks.
