Laurie Greenlands First Laps

There are some riders you do not need to over-explain. Laurie Greenland is one of them. For his first video with Forbidden, the formula was simple: get Laurie on the bike, some proper New Zealand terrain, and let the riding do the talking.

That is exactly what happened.

This was not built around a heavy storyline or a polished-up campaign concept. The point was to show the first proper look at Laurie on Forbidden, riding the way only he can. Fast, quiet, precise, and completely committed when the line demands it.

New Zealand gave us the right kind of terrain. Steep sections. Natural speed. Big compressions. Rough exits. Corners that reward trust and punish hesitation. It is the kind of place where the bike has to work underneath the rider, not against them.

Laurie does not fight the bike. He lets it move. He stays calm in the middle of chaos, finds grip where it looks like there should not be any, and carries speed with a level of control that only comes from years at the highest level of downhill.
