Why do you use size-specific dropper post lengths?

Our bikes come with size specific seat post lengths that allow for different rider heights. The amount of drop is noted in our spec sheets under each model. We choose seat post lengths based on the seat posts ability to be inserted all the way to the collar. This mitigates any potential frame damage or kinks to internal cables that may result in suboptimal performance.
